The Worst Movie Ever?

“The Room” is a 2003 movie. It is an American independent drama film written, produced and directed by Tommy Wiseau.

The best worst movie ever made, the film has been widely considered so bad, that it became a classic, and so famous, or infamous should I say?

So if you have never heard of it or watched it, I think you should.

Tommy Wiseau at the time moved to Los Angeles with his best friend Greg Sestero, and really wanted to make it in the industry as an actor. He took classes, and went on to conquer Hollywood.

Unfortunately it didn’t work out. Tommy has a unique personality, and really tried and did his best, it just never worked at the time.

So he decided to write, produce and direct his own film, in which he would be cast and would have the lead. He wrote a whole, and managed to get his film produced.

“The Room” was born.

With its unbelievable dialogue, scenes that are surreal, story that is not always easy to understand, and incredible moments, “The Room” is definitely unique!

The film had a budget of 6 million dollars, entirely financed by Tommy Wiseau himself, at the box office it made $1,800. It was a disaster. If you want to know more about it, “The Disaster Artist” on Netflix tells the whole story of how this movie came to life.

Later, it became more popular with people talking about how bad it was, so bad artistically speaking, and not only, that it was incredibly interesting to watch and study, and also incredibly funny to watch. So if you have never heard of it or watch it, I think you should watch “The Room”.
